1.	Twin 87s in the new oh spot
2.	RE11 mono oh
3.	All mics + plate send

This is the d1000e in the ‘sharp’ position. Be This is the d1000e in the ‘sharp’ position. Below the ride on the left. It’s just all click, maybe could work well with a super fuzzy kit—maybe with calfskin heads or a big 26” kick or something
1.	d1000e only
2.	Full mix
3.	Full mix without the d1000eAlso, I’ll never find a ride cymbal I love more than this one: @paistecymbals Dark Crash/Ride 22” with 3 brass rivets. Its like butta#drums #mixing #recording #paiste #akg
Kind of a fun project—doing some layering here. Kind of a fun project—doing some layering here. I love the sound of SDCs on toms. The top end might not be for everyone, but I’m really into it.Definitely abusing the Quantec Yardstick for that power tom vibe. Now I just need some concert toms!#drums #mixing #recording

2) whole drum mix, it sounds like a ton of reverb but in the context I’m going for it really doesn’t stick out
3) drum mix with the drum sound I was trying to matchRevolution Of The Mind: Live At The Apollo Vol. III is probably my favorite #jamesbrown record of all time. The J.Bs were on fire in 68’. John Morgan is on drums on this track, it’s the only one on the album that he plays on. I think he’s kind of an underrated player from the J.Bs. I’m trying to copy his bass drum dynamics here as well as the sound of the record. I love how he mixes feathering and dropping bombs on this one.Wearing my poncho for @iamluvall 😆#drums #recording #mixing #soul
1) M88 on kick, 57 on snare, D1000E as a mono over 1) M88 on kick, 57 on snare, D1000E as a mono overhead…and too much spring reverb 😬
2) D1000E mono overhead isolatedJ37 on the drum bus of the first one, second is unprocessed. I was aiming for a Jabo sound, but id really need an Acrolite to get in that ballpark. Also, the AKG is definitely the wrong choice for this. Still cool though. Maybe I can make it an RE15 if I win this @colepicksvintage giveaway lol#recording #drums #mixing
Close mics and a little bit of the rooms. The snar Close mics and a little bit of the rooms. The snare and hh mic are going to a space echo h910 thing. Logic phat fx on the bus 😮‍💨#recording #drums #mixing

Three different sounds here! 1) Full drum mix with Three different sounds here!
1) Full drum mix with all mics
2) Close mics + a gated reverb for fun
